Job summary

Memorial Health in Illinois seeks a Cardiac Special Procedures Technologist to perform technical work in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, assisting physicians and supporting procedures while ensuring safe operation of x-ray equipment.

The role requires a graduate of an approved School of Radiology, ARRT certification, ACLS, and at least two years’ experience in cardiac or interventional radiology. A sign-on bonus and incentive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved School of Radiology or equivalent training.
• Illinois licensing by EM Agency Division of Nuclear Safety required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate required.
• Has completed a basic EKG class within one year of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• Has a minimum of two years’ experience in Cardiac Special Procedures or Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Perform responsible technical work on patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsible for the operation of various types of equipment and apparatus in providing assistance and support to the physicians performing procedures. Responsible for the proper operation of x-ray equipment and radiation safety.

Schedule

• Full Time, Day Shift $20,000-$40,000
• Sign-on Bonus!
• Additional Cath Lab $20 per hour
• Incentive Pay for all shifts worked once orientation is completed.

Education

• Graduate of approved School of Radiology or equivalent training (if hired before September, 1990).

Licensure/Certification/Registry

• Illinois Department of Illinois Emergence Management Agency Division of Nuclear Safety license required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate required.
• Has successfully completed a basic EKG class within one year of hire.
• ACLS certification required.

Experience

• Has a minimum of two years’ experience as a Cardiac Special Procedures Technologist or Interventional Radiology Technologist, with demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular and/or vascular interventional procedures.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment is required.

Pay Transparency $31.51 - $48.83 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
