Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and SC RN license.
• Two years ICU/CCU or Telemetry with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to interpret EKG rhythms and monitor patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Assess staffing needs for the Cardiac Cath Lab and adjust with supervisor.
• Provide direct patient care and age-specific treatment in the Cath Lab.
• Perform pre/during/post-procedure nursing assessments and document.
• Interpret EKG rhythms and monitor patient condition on the monitor.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and proper documentation.
