Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to support cardiovascular procedures. You will assess patients, monitor hemodynamics, and collaborate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role includes on-call responsibilities, collaboration across the care team, and opportunities to expand your clinical expertise with advanced cardiac technologies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required;Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license through SC Board or compact state.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care before, during and after procedures.
• Work with cardiologists and staff during circulatory and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and expectations.
• Respond to STEMI activations and participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure safe discharge planning.
