Job summary

Banner Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona, is seeking a Registered Nurse in a per diem role to support a high volume cardiac cath lab. The RN will scrub, circulate, monitor, and document cases under physician direction, delivering safe, compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in cardiac rehab or related settings, hold BLS and preferably ACLS, and can work day shifts with per diem scheduling. Banner Health offers competitive wages and benefits for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• Banner Registry and Travel roles require prior acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care according to policy and professional standards.
• Formulate and revise care plans with input from patient/family and health team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, and supervision as needed.
• Document care and outcomes in the patient record.
• Contribute to quality improvement and nursing team education.
