Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix. The role involves circulating, monitoring and documenting cases in a high-acuity interventional cardiology setting, with requirements for procedural sedation and patient safety under physician direction.

Ideal candidates have Cath Lab or critical care experience, an active RN license, BLS certification, and live within proximity to the facility to meet call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings, with Cath Lab exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge needs.
• Formulate and update nursing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Perform direct patient care, coordinate activities and supervise care provided by others.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Supervise staff and ensure smooth workflow within the Cath Lab.
