Job summary

Banner Health's Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a tenured, collaborative team. The role includes circulating cardiac and peripheral procedures, patient admission and recovery, and participation in the Cardiac Cath Lab Academy. Comprehensive onboarding is provided by an experienced preceptor.

Shift details: Full-Time, 4 ten-hour days, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. On-call nights, holidays, and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of acute care or cath lab experience preferred.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance or state requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning requirements; review and communicate with the care team.
• Formulate and adjust the plan of care with input from patient/family and multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities; ensure care delivery per physician orders and policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed; document outcomes and teaching.
• Document all nursing assessments, plans, interventions and patient responses in the chart.
