Job summary

Banner Health’s Cath Lab nursing team in Glendale, AZ, seeks an RN with 2+ years cath lab or critical care experience. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and assisting with sedation under physician direction. Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts (6:30am-7:00pm).

Must be within 30 minutes of the facility and hold BLS; ACLS preferred. Strong teamwork and patient safety are essential. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care in accordance with nursing standards and

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN license (state of practice).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required per area of practice.
• Ideal candidates have Cath Lab or other critical care experience and live within 30 minutes of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning areas.
• Develop and initiate a patient care plan including discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate activities, and supervise care delivery as needed.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans; document findings and interventions.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely in patient records; communicate with the care team.
• Contribute to nursing quality through evidence-based practice and precept/mentor others.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe patient care.
