Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced nurse leader to drive excellence in patient outcomes and operational success. The RN provides expert education, mentoring for nursing staff, hospital administration, physicians, patients, families, and the community.

The RN coordinates and delivers high‑quality nursing care, administers medications safely, and ensures safety, risk management, and infection control standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Recent acute care experience; recent experience in specialty.
• Certifications: Licensed/registered to practice; AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Adhere to safety, risk management, QA, and infection control standards.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill HICS responsibilities and know hospital emergency codes.
