Job summary

Baylor Scott & White - Sunnyvale is seeking a Nursing Director for Emergency Services to lead clinical, operational, and fiscal performance on the Sunnyvale campus. The role oversees long-range strategies, staffing, quality and safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives, while partnering with Clinical Managers to ensure evidence-based leadership and regulatory readiness.

Experience in critical care leadership, RN licensure in Texas, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC are required,

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Three+ years of experience in critical care nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS within 6 months of hire; TNCC within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical, operational, and fiscal performance of the Emergency Services unit.
• Oversee long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with standards of clinical care and regulatory readiness.
• Support evidence-based leadership and staff development.
• Respond to patient/physician concerns in an administrative leadership role.
• Engage in disaster preparedness and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives.
