Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to independently provide direct patient care in our Intensive Care Unit. You will use the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care and collaborate with other health care professionals to meet patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include leading care coordination, documenting encounters, ensuring safety and adherence to best practices, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
• Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification and ACLS.
• CCRN preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Lead or participate in projects and guide less experienced staff.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain patient health information.
