Job summary

DLP Cardiac Partners in Morganton, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support cardiology diagnostics and interventional procedures in the cath lab. The role involves circulating, monitoring, and scrub duties, with post-procedure care as needed.

The ideal candidate has NC license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and a minimum of two years in critical care or cardiac cath with EKG interpretation skills. This is a full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum of critical care or cardiac catheterization experience with hemodynamic waveforms and vasoactive meds.
• NC or compact state RN license with an unencumbered license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Circulate, monitor and scrub procedures; provide pre- and post-care as needed.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
