Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Cardiac Cath Lab professional in North Carolina to join the Interventional Cardiovascular team. The role requires RN or allied health credentials, ACLS, and radiographic/fluoroscopic proficiency. Expect campus-wide collaboration, on-call coverage, and adherence to safety protocols.

The position emphasizes patient care, documentation accuracy, and ongoing competency development in a dynamic cardiac lab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology; i.e., Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, etc.
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.
• Registered with ARRT or RN license in applicable state; licensure or registry as it pertains to Allied Health field.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes teamwork.
• Maintains readiness of emergency equipment and supplies; responds to emergencies.
• Operates invasive/interventional cardiology equipment and prepares medications for catheterization.
• Maintains patient records, documentation and data entry across systems.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and team members to ensure quality care.
