Job summary

DLP Cardiac Partners, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team in Morganton, NC. The role involves circulating, monitoring and scrubbing during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requires NC RN license (compact allowed), BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. Two years of critical care or cath lab experience and proficiency with EKGs/dysrhythmias are essential for success

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of critical care or cardiac catheterization experience
• Ability to read EKGs and recognize dysrhythmias
• Currently licensed RN in NC or compact state with an unencumbered license
• BLS required; ACLS required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Circulate, monitor and/or scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assess patients and identify nursing needs to plan care
• Provide age-appropriate care and document medical necessity in the patient record
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care planning and care plan revisions
• Perform timely QI assessments and maintain high-quality patient-centered care
• Assist cardiologist during procedures and ensure patient safety throughout
