Job summary

DLP Cardiac Partners, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse in Morganton, NC. This full-time days position supports cardiology procedures, patient assessments, and peri-procedural care in a hospital-based lab setting.

The role requires NC RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and at least two years in critical care or cardiac catheterization; you will collaborate with the cardiology team to deliver high-quality patient care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in NC or compact state with an unencumbered license.
• BLS certification required
• ACLS required within 90 days
• Minimum of two years of critical care experience or cardiac catheterization experience and working with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso-active medications
• Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
