Job summary

DLP Cardiac Partners in Morganton, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab team on a PRN basis. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, with emphasis on high-quality, patient-centered care.

The nurse will circulate, monitor, scrub, and assist with pre- and post-care, perform thorough patient assessments, document medical necessity, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan.

Qualifications

• NC or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days
• Minimum of two years of critical care or cardiac catheterization experience with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso-active medications

Responsibilities

• Assist the cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Circulate, monitor and scrub diagnostic and interventional procedures; provide pre- and post-care as needed.
• Perform patient assessments and document medical necessity in the chart.
• Contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
