Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PALS certification recommended.
• Willingness to cross-train to other areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English proficiency required.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily practice.
• Delivers competent nursing care per Nurse Practice Act and standards.
• Administers medications and treatments safely per physician orders.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and participates in care planning.
• Provides patient and family education and support.
