Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to join our Days shift on a full-time basis. You will provide direct patient care through the nursing process, coordinate departmental care, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN license, and current BLS; ACLS within 6 months and PALS are recommended. Cross-training and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license; BLS, ACLS within 6 months; PALS recommended.
• Must read/write/speak English; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient safety and coordinate care per unit protocols.
• Administer medications and therapies within nursing practice.
• Perform assessments, document care plans and patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure accurate charting and handoffs at shift changes.
• Cross-train to other areas as needed.
