Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Cath Lab or special procedures lab preferred or 3 years critical care experience.
• Current or compact state RN licensure in Iowa and IL within one year
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the Cath Lab and procedural areas with an outcome-based plan of care.
• Assesses patients and provides teaching to patient and family.
• Manages equipment and maintains sterile technique during procedures.
• Performs scrub tech, circulator, and hemodynamic monitoring tasks as needed.
• Initiates and adheres to ACLS/BLS protocols in cardiac emergencies.
• Coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately
• Maintains safety and infection control standards and participates in unit-based quality monitoring
