Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse with invasive cardiology experience to join our Cath Lab team. Must have Associate's Nursing; Bachelor’s is preferred. BLS/ACLS are required; RCIS is a plus. Four 10-hour day shifts with on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• RN with Associate's degree required
• Cath Lab experience required
• BLS/ACLS certifications required; RCIS preferred
• 1+ year nursing experience in invasive cardiology preferred
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Excellent clinical assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs through observation and chart review
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate competency in invasive cardiology procedures and imaging
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for rights and preferences
• Educate patients and families based on learning readiness and needs
• Maintain thorough patient charts and records with accurate documentation
