Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab in Waterloo. You will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures and cross-train into the EP lab, with day shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 1.0 FTE, full-time.

The role requires Iowa RN license, BSN preferred, and cardiac experience is strongly preferred. On-call duties weekly and every third weekend; located near MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Current IA RN license
• BSN preferred
• Cardiac experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
