Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our cardiovascular/interventional care team. You will assess patients, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Requires an Associate degree in Nursing with RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, 1+ year cardiac or invasive experience preferred. The role offers day shift, full-time hours, competitive pay in the $32.16–$56.28 per hour range, and benefits

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Florida
• 1+ year nursing skills and knowledge base, preferably in cardiovascular or invasive care
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient in documentation and charting
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with invasive cardiology procedures is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, medications).
• Advocate for patient safety and rights.
• Educate patients and families based on learning needs.
• Deliver relationship-based care with respect for diversity and patient preferences.
• Delegate tasks per policy and scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and track interventions and outcomes.
• Manage patient flow by aligning nursing competencies with unit needs.
