Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is hiring a Cath Lab Tech in Davenport, IA. Join our team to assist physicians with cardiac imaging, maintain image quality, and support sterile technique during procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The role requires a two-year radiologic technology background with ARRT registry or CVIS certification, and compliance with BLS/ACLS timelines. A strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year radiologic technology program and ARRT registry, or graduate of CVIS certification or related Advanced Medical Training program
• Basic EKG monitoring class required
• BLS required within 3 months of hire
• ACLS preferred/required within 6 months of hire
• Mandatory Reporter status required within 3 months of hire
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the cath lab or related field

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients
• Ensure high quality imaging and acquisition, DSA, and hemodynamic monitoring with radiation safety practices
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist physician with scrubbing during procedures
• Transport patients to and from the cath lab
• Assist with physiologic monitoring devices and document procedural data
