Job summary

Catholic Health's Good Samaritan University Hospital Medical Center in Long Island seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role includes handling sedation, sterile field, ACLS management, and documenting care for cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year procedural/CCU experience, NY RN license, BSN preferred, and holds BLS/ACLS certifications. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with half paid after six months and half after one year.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in procedural or CCU/ICU nursing preferred.
• New York RN license and registration required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required by the American Heart Association.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedures, including sedation and sterile field.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and staff to optimize outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and families with safety, education and support.
