Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment. The RN will coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures, administer medications, and work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves pre- and post-procedure assessments, patient education, and adherence to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during Cath Lab procedures and monitors patient status.
• Documents patient care and education in the medical record.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
