Job summary

Catholic Health's Good Samaritan University Hospital Medical Center in Long Island seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role includes handling sedation, sterile field, ACLS management, and documenting care for cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year procedural/CCU experience, NY RN license, BSN preferred, and holds BLS/ACLS certifications. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with half paid after six months and half after one year.

This position is eligible for a $7,500 sign on bonus, half to be paid after 6 months, half after 1 year.

Job Details

Our Cath Lab RN's

• Manage overall care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes sedation, preservation of the sterile field, ACLS management, documentation, etc.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What You'll Bring

• Passion for cardiology
• 1+ years of experience in a Procedural or Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.) preferred
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification required from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

Salary Range

USD $56.39 - USD $73.66 /Hr.
