Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is hiring a Cath Lab Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab Unit. You will deliver direct patient care to adults in the interventional environment, assist with equipment readiness and sedation under physician guidance, and participate in CQI activities.

This role requires collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate has an NV nursing license with BLS and ACLS, 1+ year in acute care, and

Qualifications

• Current NV nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ACLS certificate.
• Minimum of one year experience in acute care setting.
• 2 years of telemetry experience preferred.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current POC certification within 6 months of hire.
• Willing to take call/standby in the Cardiovascular lab as needed.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, recovering and discharging patients from the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care.
• Provide age-appropriate care and interpret data to identify patient needs.
