Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Cardiac/Cath Lab Tech to perform radiographic and interventional procedures in the interventional services line. The role emphasizes patient safety, optimal care, and adherence to departmental standards.

The candidate will scrub and assist in cardiovascular procedures, with on-call duties as required and a day-shift schedule within a busy cath lab environment. Experience in radiology procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT OR RCIS OR RCES certification is required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology/ Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Experience scrubbing procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing procedures and ensure equipment safety.
• Instruct patients for roentgenographic/fluoroscopic exams.
• Position patients and provide immobilization/support and shielding.
