Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse for full-time day shift on the Cath Lab Unit. The role provides direct patient care to adults in the interventional environment and communicates with physicians and team members to ensure equipment readiness.

You will assist in supplies, monitor patients during procedures, and participate in CQI activities while performing thorough patient assessments and post-procedure care.

Qualifications

• Current NV nursing license is required.
• BLS certification from a recognized provider.
• ACLS certification preferred or required within hire window.
• Minimum one year in an acute care setting; telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit, recover and discharge patients from the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Provide direct adult patient care and adjust nursing plans as needed.
• Perform age-appropriate care and interpret patient data for individualized needs.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and post-procedure reassessments per policy.
