Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab on the Day shift. The role involves independent, holistic patient care using the Nursing Process for adults across ages, with opportunities to work in other imaging modalities as needed.

The ideal candidate holds California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and IV Sedation competency, with flexibility for holidays, on-call, and weekends. A $10k sign-on bonus is available for 3+ years RN experience.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed in California with current BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to work holidays, call backs, weekends and on-call as required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care for patients across ages using the Nursing Process.
• Perform pre/post procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab and related imaging modalities when needed.
• Safely administer medications and troubleshoot equipment.
• Communicate patient needs with the care team in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation and comply with regulatory standards and unit policies.
• Adhere to AIDET and adapt to assignments as needed.
• Maintain competency in unit-specific procedures and RN responsibilities.
• Support training of RN students as assigned.
