Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision. The role covers assis­tive tech duties in the cath lab, equipment operation, and post-procedure patient monitoring.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or related healthcare field, current AHA ACLS, RCIS (or ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu), and willingness to obtain RCIS within six months.

Formación

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in teaching and orientation of staff and students.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures and interpret dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operate imaging equipment under physician direction and scrub as needed.
• Assist as circulator by monitoring patient status during procedures and handling supplies.
• Transport patient to and from the department.
• Maintain cath lab cleanliness and stocking of supplies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications and dosages used; manage post-procedure hemostasis.
