Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician direction. The role includes monitoring, assisting in scrub and circulator duties, and equipment operation in the cath lab.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree, current AHA ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS. Weekend and on-call requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required or preferred.
• RCIS certification must be obtained within six months of hire date.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) credentials are accepted in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures, interpreting dysrhythmia and EKGs, and operating physiologic recorder.
