Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, including EP, with hemodynamic monitoring. You will set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment, maintain sterile technique, and assist physicians to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes.

The role requires Radiologic Technologist credentials, BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and ARRT radiography certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA).
• ACLS within 1 year required.
• BLS Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and set up imaging equipment.
• Operate electrical/imaging equipment and computers; monitor hemodynamics.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety throughout procedures.
• Interpret EKG data and recognize arrhythmias; assist anesthesia when needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
