Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to support invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate advanced imaging systems. You will assist cardiologists, maintain hemodynamic monitoring, and ensure patient safety throughout complex interventions.

The role requires BLS, ACLS, ARRT and radiologic technology certification, with responsibilities including equipment setup, sterile technique, and patient education during procedures.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications: BLS Provider, Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA, ACLS within 1 year - AHA, ARRT registered.
• Education: Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and EP concepts.
• Set up sterile table and monitor patient during procedures; maintain aseptic technique.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and proper use of imaging equipment.
• Communicate with team and educate patient during procedures to alleviate anxiety.
