Job summary

Carle Health invites applications for a Cath Lab technician role in central Illinois. The incumbent assists cardiologists during invasive coronary, vascular, and EP procedures, operating imaging and monitoring equipment, and ensuring patient safety with sterile technique.

Strong knowledge of hemodynamics and EP concepts is required along with radiologic licensure. Be prepared to collaborate with researchers and hospital teams to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Illinois (ARRT registered).
• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists with invasive coronary/vascular EP procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Interpret hemodynamic data and ensure accurate documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety and EP protocol guidelines.
• Collaborate with team and researchers on lab projects.
