Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Tech to assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cath Lab. You will set up and operate fluoroscopy and related equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must hold BLS, ACLS within 1 year, ARRT Radiography certification.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist with Illinois IEMA license.
• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hemodynamics, cardiac anatomy, and catheter/DEVICE management.
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety during procedures.
• Monitor EKG, radiation safety, and data for device implantation and results.
• Educate patients and coordinate with team to optimize care.
