Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga seeks a Cath Lab Nurse PRN to join our cardiovascular nursing team. The RN will provide direct patient care, assist physicians during interventional studies, and ensure accurate documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.

Required qualifications include active RN licensure, Cath Lab experience, and ACLS/BLS certifications within 30 days of start. This PRN role offers exposure to a high-volume cardiac program within a leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• RN provides and coordinates patient care as directed by physicians.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React to emergencies.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.
