Job summary

Parkridge Health System is looking for a Cath Lab Nurse PRN to join their team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Registered Nurses will assess and implement patient care and provide medication under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Experience as a Cath Lab RN is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React appropriately to emergencies.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac studies.
• Provide accurate nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Monitor and understand hemodynamic measurements.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Cath Lab Nurse PRN.

Job Summary

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medicines and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React appropriately to emergencies.
• Administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Cath Lab RN experience required.
