Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center, part of Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, is interviewing for a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse. You will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate treatments, and support families while working closely with physicians in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab.

Requirements include RN licensure, an Associate Degree, ACLS/BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year in ICU/ER. A 30-minute call response time is required for this role.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React to emergencies as directed.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician supervision.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.
