Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab professional to assist during complex interventional procedures and support patient care before, during, and after the catheterization process.

The role involves preparing the procedure room, draping patients, monitoring hemodynamic data, and entering all details into the system. Strong training in BLS and invasive experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Professional Certification (BLS).
• RCIS/RCES (within one year of hire with completion of an accredited CVT program) OR Licensed RT (ARRT) with invasive experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in health science or related field (preferred).
• ACLS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and scrub/assist MD during cardiac catheterization and interventions.
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status during procedure; track ECG, BP and chest pain.
• Enter patient, procedure and equipment details in the system.
• Retrieve imaging and data and perform calculations for physician interpretation.
• Balance, calibrate and record hemodynamic data; respond to emergencies.
• Operate equipment per departmental standards and safety policies.
