Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a Supervisor for the Cardiac Cath Lab on the second shift. You will lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced procedural environment, collaborating with physicians, cardiology and heart failure teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

This role emphasizes leadership, relationship-building, and continual learning of cutting-edge technologies. You’ll ensure staffing, optimize workflows, and uphold safety and quality standards in a 24/7 cath lab

Qualifications

• 3 years of catheterization/EP or interventional radiology experience
• RCIS, CCDS, CEPS, RT, RN license or equivalent
• BLS certification required within 6 months
• ACLS certification required within 6 months
• Experience in a high-volume cardiovascular lab preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day direction to assigned staff and collaborates with department leadership
• Maintains staff schedule and case coverage to ensure quality patient care
• Monitors productivity, budget, and staff engagement to meet targets
• Evaluates patient care quality through observation and adherence to standards
• Develops recommendations for patient care improvements with Medical Staff
• Collaborates on orientation and training programs for department staff
• Assists in annual budget preparation and oversees inventory and revenue cycle functions
• Contributes to protocol development for new procedures and equipment
• Partners with leaders and committees to enhance programs and services
• Performs HR responsibilities including coaching, performance reviews, and hiring decisions
• Ensures compliance with Code of Ethical Conduct and age-specific patient care
