Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI seeks a skilled professional for the Cardiology Cath Lab to perform active intra-procedural monitoring, support physicians, and manage equipment during procedures. You will educate patients and help with transport and post-procedure care.

Candidates should have BLS certification and relevant credentials; leadership experience and a strong safety focus are required. This is a day shift, full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• BLS provider within 1 month of hire date; either AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• Cardiovascular invasive or electrophysiology credentialing from CCI is preferred.
• ARRT radiography credentialing may be required depending on role.
• Clinical supervision and patient care during procedures with safety emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Perform active intra-procedural monitoring and calculations (heart rate, rhythm, cardiac output, shunting).
• Anticipate case and physician needs in real time and manage materials and inventory.
• Assist with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure cleanup while educating patients.
• Lead staff orientation, training, and coaching with strict safety procedure compliance.
