Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Cath Lab/IR Technologist (CVIR) for our Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting quality patient care and safety. The role requires collaboration with physicians and staff, proficiency in CVIR procedures, and on-call availability.

Qualifications include AMA/JRCERT radiography training or an accredited cardiovascular program, 1 year imaging experience, ARRT or RCIS certification, and Maryland licensing where applicable. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT Radiography program or accredited cardiovascular program.
• 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience required.
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification.
• Maryland radiographer license or RCIS certification.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers and physicians to deliver patient care and service.
• Assist Interventional Physicians in CVIR procedures with interventional tools.
• Know contrast administration and adverse reaction plans.
• Provide age-appropriate care and maintain safe environment.
• Manage time and be on-call during off hours.
• Support new product evaluations and share knowledge.
