Adventist HealthCare’s White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/IR Technologist (CVIR) to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. Qualified candidates receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, with on-call requirements and a non-exempt status under FLSA.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and staff, safety, patient-centered care, and ongoing learning of CVIR procedures and contrast management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography or completed cardiovascular program
• 2 years of diagnostic imaging experience
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification
• Maryland Radiographer license or RCIS certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers and staff to deliver quality patient care and service
• Support safety and risk management efforts
• Assist Interventional Physicians in CVIR procedures with interventional tools
• Understand contrast administration and adverse reaction planning
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain department schedules and punctuality
• Remain flexible for on-call coverage
• Participate in new product evaluations and knowledge sharing
