Job summary

White Oak Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an experienced Special Procedure Tech II CVIR for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will assist physicians in interventional procedures, manage contrast administration, and ensure patient safety and quality care.

The role requires flexibility for on-call hours and a commitment to continuous learning within a faith-inspired health system. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient-centered care, with a 40-hour workweek on days, and on-call

Qualifications

• High school or GED.
• Graduate of AMA / JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography or accredited cardiovascular program.
• 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience.
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification.
• Maryland Licensed Radiographer or RCIS certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS within 1 year).
• AHA BLS certification active.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers, physicians, and staff to deliver quality patient care and customer service.
• Demonstrate initiative toward safety and risk management.
• Assist Interventional physicians in CVIR procedures with interventional tools.
• Understand contrast administration, contraindications, and adverse reaction plans.
• Provide care appropriate to patient age and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Support department time management and flexible on-call coverage.
• Participate in new product evaluations and share knowledge with peers.
