Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is looking for a Full-Time Cardiovascular Lab staff member to assist with invasive and noninvasive procedures. Under the direction of a physician, you will ensure that procedure rooms are ready and monitor vital data during cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate must possess ARRT-R or RCIS certification and have strong computer skills. This position includes competitive pay ranging between $35 to $50.69 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.

• Participate in departmental meetings and training of new staff.

Schedule: Full-Time, Days, 10-hr shifts, 7a-5:30p

Facility: Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center

Location: Aurora, IL

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
