Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Lab technician to scrub and monitor procedures under the guidance of a Cardiologist/Radiologist. You will help prepare the room, monitor instruments, and support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Required ARRT-R license or RCIS, BCLS, and ACLS within 30 days; prior cardiovascular lab experience is preferred; strong computer skills are essential. Full-time days with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure the procedure room is prepared and instruments/supplies are monitored.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Train new staff and assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the candidate will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Responsibilities include ensuring the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitoring the level of all instruments and supplies, participating in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, training new staff, and assisting in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT‑R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab (preferred).
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring (preferred).
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
