Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians with catheter insertions, angiography, and angioplasty procedures in a high-volume cath lab. You will collect and document hemodynamic data, monitor patient status, and ensure equipment readiness and safety.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, BLS at hire, ACLS within 12 months, and strong attention to safety and procedure documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Formación

• Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school, or related experience.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals, procedures, or regulations; write reports and manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and volumes; apply algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Assists physician in catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization.
• Performs data collection and labeling of charts, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Maintains and inspects cath lab equipment and supplies, including transducers and pumps.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Schedules lab procedures and reviews pertinent patient history and data.
