Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• Skills include reading, interpretation of journals/procedures; report writing.
• Mathematical ability to calculate proportions, percentages, volume.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with complex variables.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with cardiovascular procedures and collect data.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and equipment.
• Inspect supplies and ensure sterility and readiness.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Schedule lab procedures and review patient history.
• Operate in cath lab during angiography and heart catheterization.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and EKG changes.
• Record data accurately and calculate cardiac metrics.
