Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a cardiovascular interventional radiology professional to support a high-acuity cardiovascular program. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitor patients, document encounters, and participate in team education.

The role requires ARRT/RN-type qualifications and strong clinical judgment. The position offers day shifts with on-call requirements and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation (Required)
• Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy (Required)
• Knowledge of Vascular anatomy (Required)
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and physiology (Required)
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff (Required)
• Knowledge of healthcare concepts and procedures (Required)
• Ability to monitor BP, ECG, and Pulse Oximetry with clinical equipment (Required)
• Basic computer skills and MS Office (Required)
• Must read/write/speak English (Required)
• Knowledge of electrophysiology and interventional radiology procedures (Preferred)
• Ability to learn radiology software (EMR, PACS) (Required)
• Commitment to department policies and ongoing education (Required)
• Maintain licensure and registries (Required)
• Radiology safety and ALARA (Required)
• Interventional radiology experience (Required)
• Procedures equipment knowledge (AngioJet, Sonosite) (Required)
• Fluoroscopic equipment knowledge (Required)
• Code all procedures correctly (Required)

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and coordinates with physicians
• Administers and evaluates treatments per policy
• Responds to clinical emergencies within scope
• Maintains and operates cardiovascular equipment
• Produces accurate medical records
• Trains and mentors staff; participates in quality initiatives
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety
• Demonstrates leadership within cardiovascular team
• Handles scheduled emergency calls
• Performs interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Other duties as assigned
