Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a Director of the Cath Lab in Lufkin, TX. This role leads the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Rehab, directing administrative, clinical, and operational activities to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

The Director collaborates with cardiology teams, supports continuous process improvement, and drives staff development while maintaining departmental readiness for surveys and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or equivalent experience as listed.
• Seven or more years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree may be considered.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience is preferred along with related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of the Cath Lab and ensures high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Partners with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nursing leaders, and other departments to optimize patient flow and lab utilization.
• Oversees clinical performance metrics and implements data-driven improvements.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies and accreditation processes.
• Develops staff education programs to ensure ongoing competency.
• Leads readiness for surveys, audits, and inspections; maintains documentation.
